Andrew Garfield questioning Spider Man’s sexuality?

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the ‘Amazing Spider’ star posed the question “Why can’t he be gay?”

In the interview with EW Andrew said “I was kind of joking, but kind of not joking about MJ,”… “And I was like, ‘What if MJ is a dude?’ Why can’t we discover that Peter is exploring his sexuality? It’s hardly even groundbreaking!…So why can’t he be gay? Why can’t he be into boys?”

We are not sure where the how the question came about, but I think we are al glad of Garfield’s attitude toward the LGBT community.

Andrew is currently working Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Felicity Jones, Paul Giamatti and more on the sequel to “The Amazing Spider-Man”, which is scheduled to be release sometime nest year.
