Cyndi Lauper Toasts the Premiere of Kinky Boots with KINKY Liqueur

Pop icon Cyndi Lauper celebrated the world premiere of Kinky Boots in Chicago tonight with KINKY® Liqueur, the official drink of the Broadway-bound musical. Lauper wrote the lyrics and music to the show based on the book by Fierstein. Kinky Boots runs through Nov. 4 in Chicago and opens on Broadway in April 2013.

This evening, the official drink of Kinky Boots the Musical, KINKY® Liqueur celebrated the opening night of the highly anticipated new Broadway show that brings together a powerhouse creative team of four-time Tony Award-winning playwright, Harvey Fierstein, Grammy Award-winning pop icon, Cyndi Lauper and an unprecedented cast of Broadway talent.

Prior to curtain call, Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein walked the red carpet at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago before joining KINKY® Liqueur for a pink and playful toast to celebrate the pre-Broadway engagement of Kinky Boots, running in Chicago through November 4.
