Rock outfit Godsmack to perform a solo date at the Pearl inside Palms Casino Resort on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 8 p.m.

Godsmack is considered one of the definitive alternative hard rock bands in contemporary music. Guided by fearless founder and front man Sully Erna, the band’s 13-year legacy includes more than 15 million albums sold and is highlighted by scores of sold-out international concerts, countless successful tours, a remarkable 18 hit singles, four platinum records, a gold EP and four Grammy nominations.

The Oracle, the band’s latest album (2010), debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart marking the third consecutive album in a row by the band to debut at #1. Certified gold in the U.S., the album generated such hits as “Cryin’ Like A Bitch” and “Love-Hate-Sex-Pain.”

The group is currently working on a new release slated for a mid 2012. For the first time ever in the band’s career, they will be releasing an album comprised solely of live performance tracks spanning across their entire discography.  A bonus disc of cover songs is set to be released in conjunction with this live album debut.
